Celebrating the Future: Crest Industries Scholarship Award Ceremony 2025

July 10, 2025 – Pineville, LA – Crest Industries is proud to award scholarships to five promising students from the Crest Family of Companies. These students exemplify the dedication and determination that drive real-world change, and we are excited to celebrate their hard work through the Crest Industries Scholarship program.  

Evelyn Sisco, long-time member of the program’s review committee, says, “These recipients showed remarkable growth and ability to think about the future and plan out their education.”  

Ethan Lipsey, Director of First-year Experience at LSUA, and Jason Parks, Executive Director at NSU, also serve on the review committee and commented on how this year’s applicants have gone above and beyond, shattering expectations and showing the resolve to earn this award.  

The 2025 Crest Industries Scholarship recipients include:

  • Isabella Atwood, daughter of Brandy Newsom from DIS-TRAN Steel. Isabella graduated from Georgetown High School and is currently attending Northwestern State University, majoring in radiologic technology.  
  • Mason Green, son of Mark Green from Mid-State Supply. Mason graduated from Winnfield Senior High School and is currently attending Louisiana Tech University, majoring in forestry with a concentration in forestry management.  
  • Madelyn Halle, daughter of John Hall from DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations. Madelyn graduated from Pineville High School and is currently attending Mississippi College, majoring in biological dentistry.  
  • Julia Loken, daughter of Tony Loken from Crest Operations. Julia graduated from Alexandria High School and is currently attending Texas A&M University, majoring in geology.  
  • Ellie Wilson, daughter of Chris Wilson from Beta Engineering. Ellie graduated from Natchitoches Central High School and is currently attending the University of Louisiana, Lafayette, majoring in nursing.  

Congratulations to these young students and their families on this achievement. We are excited to see how they will shape the future and help us all grow beyond what we believe is possible.
