June 30, 2025 – Pineville, LA – Crest Industries is proud to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the DIS-TRAN companies. Originally founded as DIS-TRAN Products in 1965, DIS-TRAN Steel and DIS-TRANPackaged Substations (DTPS) are now leading manufacturers in central Louisiana.
Both organizations work to strengthen and expand infrastructure for the United States electrical grid through distribution and transmission structures. Their innovative products and solutions are helping to power communities across the country while improving safety, cost and reliability in the electric power delivery industry.

“Our team works hard, lives with integrity, and shows up for each other every day,” says Donnie Roberts, President of DIS-TRAN Steel. “We invest in developing the skills to deliver on daily responsibilities and are a team rooted in our shared values of honesty and transparency.”
DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations is an industry leader in the design and supply of high-voltage, open-air substations, and switchyards.
“We take pride in our collaborative approach where everything we do is designed to deliver the project the right way,” says DTPS president, David Perry. “Though we have grown over the years, our age-old commitment will never change: to take care of you like family.”
